Cryptic Studios added the Milestone III to the Citadel redeemed, the special limited-time campaign for the multipart module Avernus.
The latest update introduces a new leaderboard and additional content to the adventure that requires the collaboration of all players on the servers to rebuild Zariel's now redeemed Bloody Citadel in Avernus, the first round of the Nine Hells.
Milestone III is now available on PC and will arrive later on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Additionally, the content introduced with Milestone II is now available on console.
The new update continues the epic campaign of players who help Zariel, the mistress of Avernus, get the Bloody Citadel in the Nine Hells back into business. Milestone III includes a new server progression goal as with the previous milestone, along with a new leaderboard.
Below are all the content included in the new milestone:
- New ranking goal - Summons Hunting Master Zariel or Soradiel as a companion
- The main objective of the ranking for this milestone is to obtain the ability to summon Zariel. Alternatively, though, players can unlock the power to summon the hunting master Soradiel, the leader of the Seven Celestials.
- New hunting target - Nine thorns
- For epic rewards, players can take on this giant charcoal-boned devil with powerful acid attacks.
- New room - The portal room
- The portal chamber has been reopened, giving heroes direct access to and from the world map inside the citadel.
- New heroic encounter - Bring back hope
- A new Heroic Encounter where players must save their celestial ally from the greatest danger of the Nine Hells.
As they rebuild the Citadel to return it to its former glory, players can earn the following new rewards:
- Ornamental mascot - Lulu
- Fashion item - Sacred Blacksmith
- Citadel teleport scrolls
- Visual Effect Transmutation - Floating Eyeballs
- Weapon Upgrade Token
