Square Enix and Acquire release new information regarding the highly anticipated sequel to Octopath Traveler.
First of all, Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent (Tairiku no Hasha, in Japanese), mobile title, will be a prequel to the original game and is in the pipeline in the land of the Rising Sun. While as for the Octopath Traveler sequel, we'll have to wait a little longer.
The producer, Tomoya Asano, expressed himself in an interview with the famous Japanese magazine Famitsu: “I am the first to look forward to playing Tairiku no Hasha. But for the Octopath Traveler sequel, we will need more time to reveal new aspects and information. Obviously, we're sorry. In the meantime, we hope our fans will pick up and enjoy Bravely Default II. "
The good news is that the game's development has been confirmed. However, how long we will have to wait to find out more, we still don't know. However, we remain hopeful and are confident that Square Enix and Acquire will do everything to develop the best Octopath Traveler sequel possible.
