Level up your character
Leveling the characters is actually a simple process, but it should be noted that the characters level up separately: that is, the EXP points are not shared and it is necessary to play with each character in order for it to grow and develop. EXP is obtained by completing missions (even if you fail, although you get less). With EXP, of course, you level up.
As you level up you get skill points which can be used to upgrade characters. To do this, you have to go to the character menu where you can see the skill tree. There are two skill trees for each character:
- Class, which gives them specific perks and abilities that can be used during missions (both active and passive);
- Core, which allows to increase the key characteristics of the characters such as health and stamina.
By gaining skills and level up, the character will be stronger and survive more easily.
How to craft items
Overkill's The Walking Dead makes crafting very permissive. You don't have to worry about inventory space, for example, so it means that in every map you play you can collect whatever you find without any thought.
With crafting, you can create items such as bandages to heal, smoke grenades to distract enemies or lockpicks to break in, and so on. Items are linked to your skills so open the menu and select the skill the item is linked to to create it. Of course you have to make sure that you have the right resources to do it. Once you have the item, you can immediately use it in the game.
