Answering a question about the deal to buy Zenimax, Phil Spencer revealed how the acquisition of Bethesda has doubled the available first party studios, thus managing to provide new video games to subscribers.
Phil Spencer said: “Video games are what gamers want. We build these platforms and services to deliver the best video games to gamers around the world, so we need a large number of first party teams. Bethesda allows us to nearly double the size of our first party studios - development studios that make video games as part of Xbox - and we're still looking for more teams. We want to have a continuous supply of great video games for our subscriptions and gaming platforms ».
