A different time ago PlatinumGames had announced the start of a named program Platinum4, representing a series of four announcements concerning projects and titles signed by the studio made through the appropriate - and namesake - website.
To inaugurate the series of announcements made through the latter was The Wonderful 101 Remastered, renewed version of the title released in 2013 on Nintendo platforms. Following this first announcement were those concerning Project GG, that is the new project conceived by Hideki Kamiya, and the one dedicated to the opening of a new studio based in Tokyo.
To close this series of news was a last announcement, made only recently by PlatinumGames right through the online platform. The team's online publication did not provide much detail regarding the new project, showing only a “4” and stating the expected date for the official announcement: April XNUMXst.
Despite the absence of details regarding the new project, some statements, previously issued by the company's vice president Atsushi Inaba, would suggest something that, until now, remained absolutely secret, yet extremely interesting.
At the moment the PlatinumGames it is certainly not without material to work on: among the company's future plans there would be the third chapter of Bayonetta, the new chapter of the fighting game saga of the same name born from the union with Nintendo and coming - at a date yet to be decided - on Nintendo Switch. From collaboration with Square Enix it should also be born Babylon's Fall, title from the expected release on PC and console PlayStation 4.
At the moment, unfortunately, all that remains is to wait for further news or, in the absence of these, on 1 April, the date chosen for the arrival of the last announcement of the program Platinum4.
