With the arrival of the two DLCs in 2020, many have rekindled the flame for the latest effort of Game Freak: Pokémon Sword and Shield.
The DLCs have in fact added many new features to the game: old generation Pokémon that return, new tools, new moves, new abilities and new legendaries.
By focusing on tools, in Pokémon Sword and Shield there are two tools that, especially for those who want to approach the competitive world of Pokémon, are exceptional. These are the Ability Capsule and the Ability Patch and you can buy them at the Giramondo inside the cave for Dynamax Adventures at the price of 50 Roccemax and 200 Roccemax respectively.
These two tools, in fact, will allow us to change the ability of a Pokémon directly and in an instant.
As many of you know, each Pokémon has a maximum of three abilities and only has one active. Of these, there are usually two standard abilities that that particular Pokémon can learn and another, however, is rarer and is called a special ability. Well, with the Ability Capsule you can change a Pokémon's standard ability to the other available standard ability.
With the Skill Patch, however, you can change any standard skill to that Pokémon's special skill.
