It has been many years since the last title in the series Prince of Persia has made its appearance in the videogame world, yet the hope of the players for the arrival of a new game has never been extinguished.
The rumors regarding the latter have gradually followed one another, without however ever finding actual confirmations from the company behind the series. However, the situation could soon change: the retailer Max.com.gt has in fact recently published a list of titles, among which a remake of the game focused on the Prince of Persia, with expected arrival on consoles PlayStation 4 e Nintendo Switch.
The arrival of a new title in the series Prince of Persia would be in line with the statements made in 2013 by Yannis MallatCEO Ubisoft. Mallat had taken advantage of an interview to clarify how the franchise was only on hiatus and the fans had nothing to worry about, as other games would fill the momentary void.
At the time, however, the CEO had not clarified how long this distance from the scenes would last, only clarifying how important the saga was for the company and that, therefore, the pause was only a way to make it less repetitive and bring something completely new on the various hardware. .
To further support the hypothesis of the upcoming announcement of the arrival of a remake of Prince of Persia would also be the approach of ubisoft forward.
The event, set for September 10th, in fact, it has already been used in the past by the company as a showcase and an opportunity to present new titles. To stand out among the latter would be highly anticipated games, including Watch Dogs Legion, Assassin's Creed Valhalla e Far Cry 6.
At the moment the company has not released any statements regarding the rumors that have appeared online, so all that remains is to wait for the start of the videogame-themed conference, in the hope that the game will be joined by many other promising titles!
