In addition to the upcoming launch of the Xbox Series X and Series S and the record acquisition of Zenimax, the games of Microsoft's in-house studios are grinding very interesting numbers.
In fact, from the beginning of 2020 to today, Xbox Game Studios titles have been played for a total of over 1,6 billion hours, setting a new all-time record in Xbox history.
Although the Covid-19 pandemic has certainly helped achieve this milestone, it would be unfair not to give due credit to 10 new Xbox Game Studios titles launched this year (15 if we consider the re-editions), in addition to the continuous increase in Game Pass registrations (registration that gives privileged access to the aforementioned qualifications).
The record is even more important considering that, at the end of this bizarre 2020, there are still just under three months to go.
In short, a great year for Microsoft's gaming division, year that, thanks to the highly anticipated new consoles coming, can only improve further.
