A recent leak, signed by the well-known insider Dusk Golem, shed light on future plans for Capcom for the series resident evil and, above all, on the upcoming arrival of Resident Evil Revelations 3, third game of the homonymous subseries.
According to what was announced by the leaker, the title, despite being currently indicated with the name "Outrage“, Will represent the continuation of the previous one Revelations 2, mainly thanks to its characteristics. The latter, designed to give life to a survival horror in full style Resident Evil 7 e Resident Evil 2 Remake, would have their roots in a version - heavily modified and also chosen to realize the forthcoming one Monster hunter rise - of the RE engine.
A similar detail already allows you to get an idea of the possible platforms on which the next Resident Evil Revelations 3 will be able to land, especially since the previously mentioned graphics engine would currently be used to work on console titles Nintendo Switch. In this regard, the insider Dusk Golem claimed to have received "100% confirmation" of the arrival of the game on the latest hardware signed by the great N, however declaring that this does not represent exclusivity.
To support the hypothesis regarding the arrival of the third game of the Revelations sub-series on the Switch would also be the long wait that the owners of the console had to endure before being able to experience a title in the series resident evil, combined with the desire to Capcom to expand the franchise also on the Nintendo platform.
Last detail revealed by Dusk Golem regarding Resident Evil Revelations 3 it would concern the - or rather the - protagonist of the adventure. To play the role of the main character could in fact be Rebecca Chambers, one of the main characters of the series and the youngest member of the STARS team The girl should also have appeared in the next Resident evil village, so it is not yet clear whether his role within the latter has been replaced by that played in Revelations 3 or whether the two titles are directly related.
