Although it was recently revealed that the new Resident Evil Village will be a cross-gen title, the developers are working to refine those exclusive features of the new consoles.
It had already been stated that the new Sony's pad will be leveraged with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, but in a recent interview for PlayStation Magazine, Pete Fabiano said Capcom is working to "virtually eliminate load times to allow players to maintain immersion." In addition, PlayStation 5 players will be able to experience additional auditory sensations thanks to the new 3d audio tempest that, and according to Fabiano's words: “You will be completely immersed in the audio from all directions”.
Of course, it has also been confirmed that on both PS5 and Xbox Series X, Resident Evil Village will run in Dynamic 4k with Ray-tracing support.
