On the PlayStation website, the official Resident Evil Village page appears, which reveals a lot of information about the PlayStation 5 version of the Capcom title.
Resident Evil Village will offer 4K resolution, with the implementation of a lighting system based on Ray Tracing. PS5's new hardware SSD will also allow "almost zero" loading times for survival horror.
Capcom will also seek to increase the immersion of PlayStation users even more thanks to the brand new features of DualSense: haptic feedback, in particular, will simulate the effect of shots fired with firearms, while adaptive triggers should faithfully return the sensation of the weight of the weapon and the pressure exerted on the trigger. In addition, the 3D audio tempest technology will be exploited with in-game audio designed to envelop the player in every direction and make him feel at the center of the new setting created by Capcom.
We now only have to wait for new news from Capcom, which, however, has revealed will arrive during the winter period. We should therefore be patient a little longer to find out more about the new Resident Evil.
