Thanks to Night Dive Studios the legendary System Shock will be back with a remake, and now two new videos have been released showing BioShock's ancestor in action.
In this first video, players are brought back into the world of System Shock, creating nostalgia for longtime fans, not giving up, however, to change everything in a more modern way. In the game phases shown, in fact, it will be necessary to shoot enemies and structures to make your way through the maze and exit unscathed from this virtual space. These are therefore rather original sections, visually remarkable, which we hope will be an added value for the production.
The second video instead shows the most gore part of the title, and the new dismemberment mechanic, another novelty compared to the original chapter, which will make this remake more suitable for modern times.
The release date of System Shock is still unknown but has been announced for 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We should therefore still be patient before finding out when we can get our hands on the remake of the legendary System Shock.
