Sony has managed to keep the quality and quantity of exclusives for the PlayStation 4 high (and which have in fact marked its undisputed success during the current generation) and would seem to be willing to continue on this line also with PS5. In its recent report, in fact, Sony would have talked about its goals to innovate and grow the PlayStation brand (and PlayStation 5 in particular); among these there would be gods "Proactive investments aimed at reinforcing the content of exclusive IPs". The company would also have stated that to do this it intends to "Accelerate the improvement and release of new exclusives that will flesh out the PlayStation portfolio".
The main step in the creation of new exclusive titles is the acquisition of new development studios, and Sony would have expressed itself positively in this case as well, saying that "Will continue to invest in current studios, as well as acquire new ones". Despite everything, the lineup of exclusives announced for PS5 is already very respectable, but if Sony intends to increase their quantity (while focusing on quality) it can only please the loyal public.
Among the PS5 exclusives announced so far stand out titles like Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Gran Turismo 7, but Sony almost certainly still has some arrows to shoot, especially by virtue of these statements made.
