After over a decade of requests, Beyond Good and Evil 2 it was finally announced at E3 2017. There have been virtually no updates since then and the wait is proving unbearable.
Its development, however, appears to be going well. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that after the departure of Beyond Good and Evil sequel creator and director Michel Ancel, development of the game is still progressing well. Guillemot also confirmed the potential of the Beyond Good and Evil universe (which he also talked about in the past), citing the recently announced Netflix movie.
“The game world is really great. As you can see, Netflix has also decided to take that universe and make a movie out of it. There is a lot of progress in that team and the game is going very well. "
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is in development for platforms that have not been announced and the launch date is still unknown. Stay tuned for more updates.
