For a long time now, the community has been wondering who would play Joel and Ellie in the previously announced TV series of The Last of Us, nominating actors of all kinds including impossible dreams. But finally HBO made its decision, and showed us the faces of the two protagonists.
Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey will be the television Joel and Ellie. Both already known thanks to another series by HBO: The Throne of Swords. Pascal also recently starred in The Mandalorian, a smash hit series on Disney +. The two actors were then also confirmed by Neil Druckmann, who we remember being the supervisor of the series.

For now we don't know much about the TV series, except that the pilot will be directed by Kantemir Balagov and that history will retrace, albeit with some reinterpretation, the plot of the two titles released on PlayStation. For the release date we must therefore wait a little longer, but our hope, and that of all the fans, is to see it by the end of the year.
