The Promised Neverland, successful anime and manga signed by the union of forces between the writer Kaiu shirai and the draftsman Posuka Demizu, it will become a video game. To make the announcement, on January 8 2021, was the presence Twitter Japanese official of the franchise @yakuneba_staff, which used the platform for this very purpose.
In addition to this announcement, unfortunately, the few lines published on Twitter did not report further information, except for the presence of "Game App". A similar detail would in fact seem to indicate the hypothesis of the release of a videogame adaptation intended for mobile platforms.
Most likely the title will follow the guidelines dictated by the manga of The Promised Neverland, allowing all fans of the franchise to follow the path of Emma, Norman and Ray as they escape from the Grace Field House orphanage. The latter, in fact, despite the paradisiacal appearances, actually hides a sinister secret which, once discovered by the three friends and best students of the headquarters, will force them to find a way to survive and escape an atrocious fate.
The success of the series that, launched in 2016 and lasted until 2020 on the pages of Shonen Jump, has sold over 26 million copies. The latter were subsequently followed by the anime version and, later, by a live-action film released in Japan in December 2020 and also intended for a more adult audience.
At the moment the series of The Promised Neverland is available for reading on Shonen Jump or as separately published volumes, while the anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Funanimation, HIDIVE, Toonami e Netflix. Waiting for new news regarding the videogame adaptation, therefore, all that remains is to enjoy all the other versions of the franchise, whose second season has only recently been previewed on Hulu.
