A clue seems to reveal the structure of the world that will characterize the new course of the saga.
The new course of the BioShock saga seems to want to detach at least for some elements from the original trilogy. According to a clue that appeared on the net in the past few hours, in fact, BioShock 4 will have an Open World structure and will boast a totally new setting, therefore far from Rapture and Columbia.
Cloud Chamber, the fledgling 2K branch involved in the project, is looking for a senior writer to integrate into the team for the creation of the game's main and secondary missions. The candidate will work alongside the lead writer in the writing and execution of the story, dialogue and other narrative elements and must be able to "write high impact stories centered on the characters in an open world setting".
From the description provided by the development studio, it is therefore clear that BioShock 4 will propose an open world scenario, giving the player a freedom of exploration unprecedented for the saga. This detail would seem in line with another job announcement that appeared some time ago, relating to the presence of a more open level design.
In short, while fans of the franchise grow the desire to discover official information on Bioshock 4, 2K and Cloud Chamber are working behind the scenes to give shape to the awaited new chapter.
