A sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, or at least a "second version" seems to be in development
With 3 titles under its belt, the Bloodstained brand started with great success, thanks to both Ritual of the Night and the two Curse of the Moon. A follow-up to the main title is therefore probably only a matter of time. In fact, from a report by Digital Bros on the fiscal results of 2021 he is named Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night with a curious writing that mentions a "second version" in development.
The words used are rather ambiguous, they could refer to a big overhaul or dlc for the game, precisely a 2.0 version. However, a new chapter in the saga is also plausible, considering also that the Curse of the Moon spinoff has already seen its own sequel arrive on the market last year. We just have to wait and hope for Koji Igarashi's next metroidvania!
