After the various rumors circulated on the net in recent weeks, on Christmas day a legal action from the United States took place for Cyberpunk 2077 but CD Projekt RED's response on the class action was not long in coming.
In fact, on the same day, an investor meeting was held which resulted in report no. 68/2020 which states that CD Projekt RED "will take vigorous action to defend itself against such claims ".

The board of directors of CD PROJEKT SA with registered office in Warsaw (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby announces that today it has received confirmation from a law firm working with the Company that a legal action has been brought collective in the United States District Court for the Central District of California by a law firm acting on behalf of a group of holders of securities traded in the United States under the symbols "OTGLY" and "OTGLF" and based on the shares of the Company. Plaintiffs are asking the court to judge whether the actions taken by the Company and its board of directors in connection with the release of Cyberpunk 2077 constituted a violation of federal laws, for example by misleading investors and, consequently, causing them to suffer harm. . The complaint does not specify the amount of damages claimed. The Company will take vigorous action to defend itself against such claims.
In short, it seems clear that there will be a rather heated legal battle with unpredictable implications, with CD Projekt RED ready to respond blow by blow to the class action initiated in the United States regarding the release of Cyberpunk 2077.
