A few hours ago it was rumored that Sony could show the new chapter of Final Fantasy during the September 16 event dedicated to PlayStation 5. In the end the predictions were respected and, at the opening of the show, players found themselves in front of a Final Fantasy XVI trailer.
The trailer, although it is really very short, still allows you to get an idea of where the game wants to go. The ideas, also aesthetic, that the developers have taken from Final Fantasy XIV are immediately evident; title that seems to be a sort of narrative basis for the new chapter. Clearly no further details were disclosed, but it is likely that this will be done by the software house over the next few weeks.
What matters is that the existence of Final Fantasy XVI has been confirmed. The title will also be console exclusive on PS5, but will also be released on PC. For the moment, however, no official release date has been announced.
