Gods and Monsters, signed title Ubisoft announced in June 2019 and then shrouded in a veil of mystery, it returns to be heard. According to the latest rumors, however, the game could reappear with a completely different name from the one the public was used to.
Leading to the birth of this hypothesis were the recent statements of the company behind the game which, in addition to confirming that the development was proceeding at a good pace and smoothly, however, has undergone a complete review and modification, both from the point of view of design both features and name!
In particular, this last detail was confirmed by a recent evaluation carried out by Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee on a video game Ubisoft intended for console Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch e PC, that is the same initially chosen for the arrival of Gods and Monsters, but known by a different name.
The evaluation did not in fact refer to the previously mentioned and known title up to now, but to a game called Immortals: Fenyx Rising, a name certainly able to best represent the mythological roots on which the video game should rest its foundations.
Detail capable of raising other doubts would be the lack of the evaluation of Immortals on next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X: the game should indeed be characterized by a cross-gen nature, as well as many other titles announced by the company.
Currently Ubisoft did not want to release further details, neither concerning the arrival of the video game on new generation platforms nor on the possible period foreseen for its release on current hardware. However, the company has set a new event ubisoft forward during the month of September therefore, in all probability, on that occasion it will be possible to have some more clarification on the characteristics of Gods and Monsters is Immortals: Fenyx Rising.
