The developers of Halo Infinite, a new chapter in the science fiction series that has always been linked to Microsoft, they are back to talking about the game. This time they focused on the issue of optimization, which - given the intention to release the title on different platforms - had intrigued many users.
343 Industries insures therefore that the optimization of Halo Infinite will be such as to allow it to run well for each platform for which the release is planned. Considering that Halo Infinite is expected on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC - all platforms with different technical specifications - the doubts of the players were absolutely legitimate and the statements of the software house are certainly comforting. In a post published on Halo Waypoint you can read the comment of the Game Foundation Architect of the game, Daniele Giannetti, who expressed himself as follows:
For Halo Infinite we have rebuilt the engine's multi-threading solution. This ensures high execution efficiency on all platforms and PCs, instead of working optimally on Xbox One
Clearly these clarifications respond to the need felt by fans to have a cross gen title on day one that runs well. On the other hand, the Cyberpunk 2077 issue has left a mark in the sector and It is good for developers to update users on the optimization of expected titles on many platforms.
