After escaping them, not without difficulty, during chapter 4, we manage to understand that fire is the winning weapon to defeat Laura, aka the Spider Woman, the second boss we're going to face in The Evil Within.
In this guide we will explain very simply how to beat Laura, effortlessly and above all by consuming very few resources.
Specifically, the following will suffice:
- 4 matches
- 1 bullet per pistol
How is it possible? The boss fight will activate once we move to the center of the area, through metal bridges. Here Laura will make her appearance completely intent on eliminating us with her evil extremities. Since the fight will only start after we pass a certain area, we will be able to prepare the scene of the clash and solve the boss fight easily.
First we will have to use matches to set fire to the four bodies scattered around the area which will allow Laura to move from one place to another and to chase us easily. Done this we will have to kick the barrel that we find at the entrance of the area towards the center of the room, where the last body is located. The fight will begin and with the only bullet that we are going to spend we will hit the barrel to set fire to the body and Laura simultaneously. Once this is done we will move to one of the side areas, those characterized by the grate with the fire below.
We will climb the ladder and then we will activate the lever when Laura makes her appearance (in fact she will avoid moving through the bodies already in flames). At this point we just have to move to the other area with the grate and the fire below, pull the lever and wait. After Laura finishes burning the grate will open and we can collect the well-deserved prize, as well as unlocking the achievement.
