For those who still encounter the cabbage error, we propose two other methods to try to solve the problem:
Cascade a second ADSL2 + router
The procedure is relatively simple, in fact it will be necessary to set an ADSL router in cascade to the first one and then disable the firewall and the wi-fi of the first router.
- Connect the second router and access the network management page (just type 192.168.1.1 in the search bar)
- Change it to another - for example 192.168.2.1. To carry out this operation, we recommend follow the guidelines of your router, thus avoiding various complications.
- Reload the page and log in to the old router, then disable the firewall and wi-fi.
PPPoE method (only works on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro with tim lines)

The steps you will need to take to resolve the error are:
- Connect your PC to your modem at home via an ethernet cable;
- Download the MyPublicWiFi program, which will allow you to create a Hotspot your fixed connection to other devices;
- Install the program and start it with administrator permissions;
- Open the program and choose the network name and password, select the "Ethernet" item, check the "Configured hotspot" item and start the Hotspot;
- Access the settings of your network card, click on the properties button for the "Ethernet" section, then click the "Sharing" tab and allow the possibility of creating Hotspots;
- Finally, connect your PlayStation 4 / Xbox One to the newly created Hotspot network.
