In State of Decay 2, you will use Influence Points as in-game currency. Getting them isn't complicated but unlocking new bases to grab new weapons, trade and use radio services requires a tidy sum. In addition, this currency will still be closely linked with your progress within the game. Having a method to accumulate Influence Points quickly can therefore prove to be fundamental.
Here are several tricks to make them yours as quickly as possible:
Destroy the Plague Hearts:
Plague Hearts can be located via radio communications, and are then marked on the map. There will be a lot of zombies around in these areas, so arm yourself with diversions like firecrackers to lure enemies and focus on the target instead. You can use heavy weapons or explosives to take them down as soon as possible.
Helping other communities:
In State of Decay 2 there will also be community missions. The other survivors will call you for help. Usually the objectives in these missions will be to obtain certain resources or destroy zombie infestations. These tasks are boring in the long run and very similar to each other but allow you to earn Influence Points very quickly.
Co-op missions:
To fill your wallet, missions in company will also be useful. If you complete some of them together with a friend from the State of Decay 2 online community, you will earn a nice nest egg.
Do not damage vehicles:
Transportation will be your only salvation when it comes to moving assets to a safe place. It will be essential not to damage them. Many players use them as a ploy to whiz zombies to kill them but this is very expensive in terms of repairs. Misuse of vehicles will cost you Influence Points, significantly slowing the loot increase. Try to take down the strongest enemies with other methods.
Exchange of items:
You can also trade items with other survivors. This method is perhaps one of the fastest to accumulate Influence Points. You will be able to exchange items with anyone you meet and, the most valuable items, can be used to gain Influence Points: firearms and melee weapons will be good merchandise, blood wound healing will be much more.
