Although one of the main objectives of Sniper Elite 4 is to remain patiently hidden, it is still possible to approach the title in a less reasoned way. In such situations, a good shotgun can do for us. In particular we would like to introduce thel Trench Gun, the fiercest and most powerful shotgun in the game.
Unlike other weapons, this one cannot simply be purchased. In order to do this you will first need to complete an objective and kill an enemy sniper with a Trench Gun (Inception?). This means that in order to unlock it it will first be necessary to identify it and then be able to use it on the enemy. The best way to complete these requirements will take you to Regilino, where Karl has to contend with the railgun.
Once the mission is launched, go to the ammo depot marked as an optional objective, north of the railgun. In the area it is full of enemies and a sniper will try to take you out: it is very important not to kill him, so avoid being discovered while you make a clean sweep, otherwise he will give you a hard time.
Enter the camp tents surrounding the ammo depot and grab the shotgun from the table. Once you get it, continue on the bridge, perhaps helping yourself by staying on the rear wall of the train so as not to become easy prey for the enemy. Get around his position, go behind him - it will be very easy from here on out, because the railgun will cover most of your noises - and hit him with the Trench Gun.
By doing so, you can buy the weapon and use it as you please.
