La Mass Effect Trilogy and its rumors have been present for a good part of 2020 and it seems that they do not want to disappear. The last entry down the hall was born from Jeff Grubb (reporter for GamesBeat).
The man announced that Electronic Arts wanted to announce the trilogy in October and then release it that month, but it seems that in the end has decided to postpone everything.
I know for a fact that he wanted to announce it in October and release it towards the end of the month. But it's 2020, maybe this thing might not go as planned. It could be a possibility. Nothing is certain yet.
Furthermore, Grubb went on to say that EA wants to sell Mass Effect Trilogy for sixty dollars. Although it is possible that the title (not yet officially announced) will be postponed, the reporter is keen to emphasize that nothing is guaranteed. There would also be the possibility that it will come out directly for next-gen, so on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as well as for PC.
People always ask me “will it be a remake or just an upgrade?”, The answer is that I don't know for sure, but I'd say I'm more towards an upgrade. Also because that's exactly what people seem to want.
