Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct for tomorrow day 17 February. The live broadcast will be broadcast at 23:00 on the Nintendo Youtube channel and it will be very full-bodied, with one expected duration of about 50 minutes.
During Nintendo Direct we will talk about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - most likely a new character coming - and gods titles coming out on Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2021. A direct that should therefore reveal part of the plans on the line-up for the new Nintendo year. It is difficult to anticipate what the announcements will be, but some assumptions can be made: difficult to talk about Pokémon (remake of Diamante and Perla) since Nintendo has accustomed us to Direct specific for the titles of this incredibly successful brand.
Given the size of Direct, many expect news on two of the other anniversaries this year (Zelda and Metroid): despite this, it is possible that the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of Super Mario (which will also continue in March) will be awaited before knowing something more about any plans to celebrate - videogame - these two brands. It is equally possible that this new Nintendo Direct is the right stage for the announcement of some ports and some first-party, or perhaps for release dates for previously announced titles that still report a generic 2021 (did someone say No More Heroes 3?).
What are your expectations instead? What do you expect more from this new Direct?
