One of these is Rockruff and, in this guide, we will explain how to evolve the cute seventh generation dog Pokémon into the three forms of Lycanroc.
As fans of the series will remember, specific conditions must be met in order for Rockruff to evolve into Lycanroc. In Pokémon Sword and Shield, you will have to bring Rockruff to level 25 and, depending on the form of Lycanroc you want, follow these directions:
- Lycanroc Day Form: only if Rockruff advances a level by day
- Lycanroc Form Night: Only if Rockruff levels up during the night
- Lycanroc Twilight Form: only if Rockruff has the Local Mind skill and if you level up between 19:00 - 19:59 (Nintendo Switch time).
