Resident Evil Village is certainly one of the most anticipated titles of this year. During the last presentation several details were revealed but it seems that, through the Collector's Edition, recently revealed, others have emerged. These concern the game locations and certain areas that will be explorable. If you do not want to find out more details about it, please stop reading here.
A physical map is included in the Collector's Edition of Resident Evil Village, which would show the main setting of the game. An image of that map was uploaded to Reddit and the various speculations started from here. The map shows both the village from which the title takes its name and the Dimitrescu Castle, i.e. the two main locations of the title. The map, however, has a remarkable level of detail and it is also possible to notice the key points of the village. Near the castle there seems to be a kind of mill. Another point of interest seems to be a certain Casa Beneviento. The Heisenberg factory is also present (Heisenberg is the name of the mysterious man that is glimpsed in the trailer). There is also the Moreau Reserve which appears to be connected to the factory by a portal. In the body of water present, there seem to be sea monsters, at least if one is based on drawings.
According to some leaks, Resident Evil Village will place a lot of emphasis on exploration, thus becoming one of the potentially longest-running titles in the series. Recall that Resident Evil Village will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 7st May. There is already a demo available only on PlayStation 5 and a second one will be released in the spring for all the platforms on which the title will be published by Capcom.
