THEaccessibility is one of the most talked about topics in the world of video games in recent times: from titles with numerous functions related to accessibility such as The Last of Us: Part II to prizes such as those of The Game Awards, which from this year will award recognition to the most deserving qualifications in terms of accessibility.

Today comes another innovation related to Xbox Series X always from Microsoft: The Exclusive Lead Bryce Johnson - who contributed to the development of the aforementioned Xbox Adaptive Controller - revealed how they will be present on the body of the next-gen console tactile indicators for the cables to be connected, especially helping the blind in connection operations.
The symbols used will not take advantage of existing standards, but were created by Microsoft together with a community of blind people to provide an understandable final result, also given the impossibility of using Braille due to the limited space and possible localization problems.
