Among the lack of availability, due to Coronavirus, not many will be able to try the Xbox Series X version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon upon release. This, however, is getting closer and closer, and the SEGA title continues to advertise, this time showing the advantages of playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon, on next-gen.
The tone of the trailer, if not understood, is distinctly ironic, joking about the various terminologies that are always thrown left and right before a new generation. The highlights are the next-gen crustacean AI and cutting edge hairstyles, which remind us a lot of the first news on Final Fantasy XV in which flowing and extremely detailed hair was praised. In short, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released on next-gen, first on Xbox Series X and S, but it will also accompany us on current generation consoles and PCs, without perhaps having a new generation crustacean AI, but allowing more people to enjoy Ichiban's first big adventure.
