In Assassin's Creed Odyssey there have been many complaints from users about the enormous amount of experience needed to advance from one level to another, often presenting plot missions with prohibitive requirements that require the player to level alone for hours in order to be able to continue with the main quest.
The most difficult moment in the life of a Misthios is undoubtedly represented in the achievement of the fateful level 50, level cap of the game at the release, which soon can even be overcome thanks to an update.
From 45 onwards, the experience needed to increase our level will increase exponentially, and the XP obtained from exploration and quests will start to be unsatisfactory. There is no need to despair, because there is a way to earn 70000 experience points in minutes.
It's time to head to the Pefka arena, located on the eastern part of Messara Island. The arena offers us 5 different fighters to compete against:
- Claudius, the king of bandits (level 22)
- Belo, the beast of Sparta (level 29)
- Evante, the huntress (level 36)
- Titus, the rock of Athens (level 43)
- Basilio, the king of the arena (level 50)
At this point of the adventure we assume that you have already tried your hand at the first contenders in the arena, if you have not done so, just know that in order to challenge the chosen opponent you will first have to defeat 4 waves of opponents. The battlefield is littered with traps that you can also (and above all) use to your advantage.
Thanks to the help of traps and a good management of your character's skills (in our case a warrior set based on the reduction of the cost in bars of the supreme ability and the free use and without recharge of fiery attacks), beating Basilio will be a child's play.
At this point the possibility of beating the arena fighters again will come into play, and their level will be raised to 50. Each time you defeat one you will be rewarded with 70000 experience points. The speed of obtaining these experience points is not comparable to any other activity within the experience offered by Assassin's Creed Odyssey, united to emphasize that the stronger you become, the faster the process will be.
For the record's sake, once Basilio is beaten, a fight against a mysterious opponent will also be available, but in order to avoid spoilers, we leave the unveiling of this mystery to you independently.
