Alchemy plays a central role in A Plague Tale: Innocence. As a science of transformation it is used in play with a purpose similar to modern chemistry or medicine, and as a form of control over the world overrun by rats and disease. Spread across the various chapters of A Plague Tale: Innocence are five alchemist chariots packed with materials, including tools and a workbench.
Finding them isn't always easy. In this guide we will show you where to find all the chariots of the alchemists, to upgrade Amicia's equipment and unlock the Bronze Resource Sharing trophy.
Chapter 7 - Alchemists' Chariot # 1
The first chariot debuts in Chapter 7 - The Path Before Us. This cannot be missed, as it is located on the main road and is required by the plot. To achieve it you will need to create a Luminosa, which has the ability to get rid of rats (the ingredients will be provided by Lucas).
Chapter 9 - Alchemists' Chariot # 2
In this chapter Amicia is alone, dedicated to reaching the city library to help her little brother Hugo. The chariot is hidden towards the end of the level, where a small wooden bridge occupied by rats must be cleared through the Odoris, a new creation that attracts rats to a certain point. After crossing the bridge, you will arrive where there are two guards (one is next to the table). You will need to turn left and use a Luminosa to get rid of the rats, then jump over and take the materials you have earned.
Chapter 10 - Alchemists' Chariot # 3
The third chariot is found in the next chapter, The Way of the Roses. Shortly after escaping the burning library and the blacksmith Rodric who teaches Amicia how to put out fires with Exstinguis, the two end up in the courtyard. Before entering the burning building, at the beginning of the area the wagon waits at the far right after climbing over. Here too it will be necessary to cast a Luminosa.
Chapter 12 - Alchemists' Chariot # 4
The penultimate chariot of the alchemists is located in the old Abode of De Rune. It is located towards the end of the level, before the long avenue to be traveled with the cart with the brazier and pushed by Lucas. Before using the Ignifer on the chariot, simply turn around and use an Ignifer on an unlit torch, which will reveal the chariot, followed by a Luminosa.
Chapter 16 - Alchemists' Chariot # 5
The last chariot is found in one of the final chapters of the game, at the beginning of the city, precisely after having knocked out a guard with a torch and shortly after a white X on the right. An alley always to the right sees a guard from behind to protect the wagon. Depending on Amicia's abilities, you can take care of it yourself or have Rodric do the dirty work, and once you reach the Alchemist's wagon power up for the final battle and receive the trophy.
