Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - GUIDE PART 3: The Entrance
- Continue to the right until you reach a room with various platforms and a candlestick.
- Climb up using the above to get a new Armor.
- Drop down and proceed right past the room with the blood pool to use a save point.
- Go back to the room with the pool of blood and go up to the platforms.
- Go right until you find a way down.
- Drop down to reach a crate containing 500G.
- Continue to the right until a cutscene starts.
- Keep going until you get to Garden of Silence.
- Keep going until you find the Coachman.
- Climb to the platforms above you and continue to the upper left.
- Continue left to find a chest containing the Morgenstern.
- Go back and go to the room on the upper level using the platforms.
- Go left to a room with thin platforms. Drop to find a Max HP Up.
- Go back up and then continue left until you find a red door.
- Continue to the left until you find some stairs. Top right is a save point, bottom left is a teleport point. Save as the next boss can be problematic.
- Go back out and enter the door on the left to face Zangetsu. Here are some tips to deal with it:
Jump behind him as he regains balance after each attack. Most of his attacks have slow recovery, so they will give you large windows to attack him.
Be careful when jumping, as he may throw daggers diagonally to counter attack you.
When he climbs to the ceiling, be prepared to dodge his powerful ground sword.
If you are too close, he will sometimes make a powerful jump sword attack. Always be prepared to walk away after its recovery window.
Sometimes it will provoke you by putting yourself in a guard pose. Don't attack him when he does, but jump behind him and hit him from behind.
After taking a certain amount of damage, he will wrap his sword in fire to deal more damage.
In this mode, explosive daggers are added to his attacks, so be careful when you are at a distance.
When his sword is on fire, his jump attack will cause an explosion. Avoid it by not staying too close to it.
When he teleports, instead of dodging, jump to avoid his slash.
Once you have mastered these attacks, hitting him using the waiting windows is not difficult. Keep hitting him until he is defeated.
