The Golden Talisman of Protection is a powerful talisman that can be found during the first few hours of the game in God of War and is a very useful resource throughout the game. It is very easy to lose so pay attention when searching.
You can make it yours when you reach the Lake of Nine. The talisman reduces the cooldown time, increases the parry defense and slightly lengthens the time window to perform a parry. To find the Golden Talisman of Protection, go to the Stone Falls. Head northeast of the temple - this location will be reachable after you unlock the temple in the center of the Lake of Nine. You will stop at the Stone Falls to enter Veithurgard (following the plot), but you can visit the hidden area whenever you want. Still at the Stone Falls, solve the puzzle to reach the bridge. Take it down after opening the door and go past the spirit of the NPC (go around the door that leads back to the arena), lower the bridge and cross it. In the Arena you can enter a door on the right which will contain a legendary chest with the Talisman inside.
