The new Pokémon Home application, developed by The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo, offers a cloud service to move and trade Pokémon from video games and the Pokémon Bank, storing them in virtual boxes.
The version of Pokémon Home for Nintendo Switch supports the connection with the video games Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! Both the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions of iOS and Android support linking with Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Bank software.
Connection of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield can be linked to the version of Pokémon Home for Nintendo Switch. Once connected, you will be able to deposit or withdraw the Pokémon that can be obtained in these two video games.
Pokémon Link: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! can be linked to the version of Pokémon Home for Nintendo Switch. You will be able to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! to Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! and vice versa, or move them from these video games to Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. If you transfer a Pokémon from Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! o Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! to Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield, you will no longer be able to transfer it to the video game it came from!
Connection with the Pokémon Bank
If you have the premium (paid) service, you can move Pokémon from the Nintendo 3DS Pokémon video games to Pokémon Home using the Pokémon Bank. Pokémon transferred from Pokémon Bank to Pokémon Home can no longer be transferred to Pokémon Bank. You will be able to move Pokémon from previous Pokémon video games in the main series using the Pokémon Bank and Poké Transfer. After you transfer your Pokémon to Pokémon Bank, you can transfer them to Pokémon Home!
