Jeanne
The first unlockable character is Jeanne, the best friend of Bayonetta, the witch of Umbra dressed in red. In order to unlock it, you will need to complete the game on any difficulty. Jeanne is similar to Bayonetta in gameplay, but with a couple of key differences. First of all he can dodge without limits (while Bayonetta will stop after 3 consecutive dodges), but activating the Sabbath of Time is more complex. Also Jeanne will take a little more damage than Bayonetta.
Rose
To unlock Rosa, you will need to finish the game on hard (or third apotheosis in the Wii U version). Rosa has devastating attack power, but low defensive power, making her easily prone to easy deaths.
Balder
To unlock Balder you need complete Verse Card No. 13 - Light and Darkness: Balder and Rosa - in multiplayer mode. This challenge is not accessible, but is unlocked in a similar way to that of the characters of Smash Bros. By doing different challenges in multiplayer, from 10 to 15, "mysterious opponents" will appear, among these opponents there is the possibility of meeting Balder and Rosa. The clash is not easy, but not impossible either, attention is recommended.
Balder is only usable in multiplayer.
Rodin
To unlock Rodin you have to complete the VerseCard No. 53 - The Infinite Rodin - in multiplayer. The procedure for unlocking this card is the same as for Balder. Rodin is a much less dynamic character than the rest of the roster, but he has an incredible attack power, so much so that in his Apoteosi version he manages to shoot many of the enemies he can face.
