The Thamium9 is one of the main elements of No Man's Sky, a title that makes crafting and the collection of elements one of its main components.
Your life support systems, excavation equipment, and even some weapons require the Thamium9 to create and function. Furthermore, this element is also the fuel of space travel. It therefore turns out to be vital.
Thanium is easily found on the surface of various planets even if, as these are made in a procedural way, it is practically impossible to give their coordinates.
The trick is to focus on mining the rocks and debris found in outer space as you move between the planets. To find them, just use your main weapon, breaking them and finding the precious element.
As you can see in the video the amount you get from destroying these rocks is quite large and should only take a couple of minutes to get a good supply. You can also try your luck with other ships that can be found at the various space stations, as they may be offering Thamium9 for trade.
