Welcome back to complete guide about the Oninaki Daemons. In this second part we will review the latest creatures that can be encountered on Kagachi's journey, including the mysterious Eleventh Daemon.
In case you have not read it, we refer you to first part, where we talk about Aisha, Zaav, Wil, Dia and Izana: Complete Guide to Oninaki's Daemons (Part 1)
The setting will be the same as the previous one, in order to provide as complete a guide as possible that touches all aspects of the Daemons. In summary, we will touch on several points, such as:
- Il place, where they are and in which chapter that composes Oninaki.
- Le statistics privileged by each Daemon.
- La soulstone frequency, the speed with which Daemons can be upgraded. Soulstones are items released by Fallen and allow you to unlock the abilities of Daemons. The more skills that are unlocked, the more the Daemon will increase in rank and power. Note: this is more of a sensation, also because their drop is totally random.
- Their peculiarities, that is, what function the key usually intended for jumping or dodging has in each case.
- La gimmick, what each Daemon excels at.
- Le better moves, those attacks that have proven most effective and are a must for every Daemon.
- Le best soulstone for each creature, or those stones that can be embedded in weapons to add various types of effects.
- THEutility against bosses, who is more or less prepared to fight against the most difficult obstacles in the game.
Let's continue!
Zephyr
Let's start this guide with Oninaki's only animal Daemon: Zephyr, the white wolf born to fight. His thirst for battle is equal to no other and indeed Zephyr is a very offensive companion, but also faithful. His specialties consist of attacking on the move with his fangs, for which he pays less accuracy for greater speed, including a double jump with which to dodge awkwardly and attack from above in a more convincing way. Like Zaav, some of his attacks (like Roar) increase the stats of the whole team and it turns out to be an excellent support Daemon thanks to the ability of recover life by walking (HP Walk) which is among the best passive skills in the game. The favorite debuff of this big dog who carries Kagachi on his back is stunning the opponents, causing this status both with the Stunning Breath move and when it manifests. It is highly customizable through status-inflicting soulstones given its speed, buff and even ability to playing riskier at the cost of defense (Fearless).

- Better statistics: Speed
- Soulstone speed: Fast
- Peculiarities: Double jump
- Gimmick: Increase and decrease statistics

Gavod
Gavod is a particular Daemon in that excels in both attack and defense. This is possible thanks to the weapon he wields, one shield-cannon which crowns him as the King of Daemons with regards to destruction of smaller enemies. Between shield charges and cannon blasts, this family man is capable of wreaking havoc on the battlefield - but not all that glitters is gold: Gavod is completely addicted to his abilities, as basic attacks are too slow given the weight of the weapon. The first skills (such as Sortie) are immediately effective and are able to throw even the largest enemies, but it is advisable to change Daemon if you want to make faster attacks. His inherent ability is to parry in a very similar way to Wil, but better. In fact, when manifested is capable of not suffering any damage and above all send it back to the sender. Finally, the blue-petalled man possesses a skill capable of giving the protagonist of Oninaki one passive regeneration which works in a similar way to Zephyr. By betting everything on the skills, one of the four slots for the soulstone should definitely go to enhance the damage of the skills, as well as, given its slowness, give it a defense from Muddle (a status that does not allow manifestation or healing).
- Location: It is added throughout history
- Better statistics: Attack, Defense
- Soulstone speed: Medium / Slow
- Peculiarities: Parade
- Gimmick: Regeneration, Damage Absorption
- Better moves: Sortie, Adamantine, Laser Barrage
- Best soulstone: Muddle Resistance, Reaction Attack, Skill Attack, Slayer, Giant Slayer
- Utility boss: Low / High (if the boss moves / if stationary)
Lucika
White Petals Lucika is the answer for those who prefer bare hands as weapons from battle. It is one of the most interesting Daemons from the point of view of lore of Oninaki, echo of an ancient civilization, but it needs a lot of investment to start paying off (let's talk about Rank 5 and up). He is also an intriguing Daemon to play with, accomplices the barrier and the devices it is equipped with. By pressing the key usually used to jump or dodge, in fact, Lucika will create a barrier around Kagachi which will have the function of reduce damage and (almost) stop bullets. In the beginning, it will be impossible for the Watcher to move, and it is for this reason that the ability to move once the barrier is created is practically mandatory for Lucika. The other feature of the Daemon are the devices, luminous blue stones that are formed as a result of the use of the skill, up to a maximum of 8. These devices are responsible for increasing various character stats. The basic attacks (at short range) must be supported by the soulstone of the same name that increases them, and given their speed they are ideal to be combined with a stone that gives the possibility of to poison enemies with each shot. Lucika's abilities are inferior when compared to those of her companions, nevertheless she has some notable AoE attacks like Kaleidoscope (which locks enemies in a bubble) or Eternal Beam.
- Location: Ehir Palace (Ground Floor), 2-2
- Better statistics: Speed
- Soulstone speed: Average
- Peculiarities: Barrier
- Gimmick: Devices
- Better moves: Kaleidoscope, Eternal Beam
- Best soulstone: Basic Attack, Poison, Relentless Warrior

Thirteen
Treize arrives immediately after Lucika and quickly demonstrates how one of the best Oninaki Daemons. He is a different Daemon from all the others, as he is darker: in his earthly life, Treize was half human and half shadowless, two races in conflict with each other in order to survive. Treize thus embarks on a journey in search of immortality. It is theabsolute lord of AoE attacks and debuffs, to which most of the passive skills are dedicated. Her favorite weapons are chains which can shake both on the ground hitting multiple enemies than jumping in the air and aiming an enemy with great precision. Her main feature is to brand individual Fallen with its chains with a green aura to ensure more damage in the future. With Flailing Daze he hurls the chains in all directions, annihilating the small Fallen and making the bigger ones fall. Other arrows in his quiver are Magnoblast, a perfect charge projectile when used right after Flailing Daze, Purity, which allows Treize to attack and heal himself, and Bind which hits all enemies on screen by raining chains. The best soulstones are those that further enhance abilities, the ability to debuff, and to let enemies see birds. There ability to always poison when manifested it's just the icing on the cake that makes Treize a must have.

- Best soulstone: Giant Slayer, Debuff Chance, Skill Attack, Stun

Regan
Rigan is the penultimate Daemon we will see passing over to our side. If it had a role it would surely be a thief, complete with hood and double dagger. The thief instantly conjures up an agile character he can rely on fast attacks, and Rigan is just that. Its peculiarity is to absorb damage and counterattack enemies. To do this, holding down any Kagachi ability will pass into a defensive position and, if attacked, will return the blow with greater force. Rigan owns the highest HP stat among Daemons for this very purpose, together with an excellent attack speed which, combined with the possibility of applying various statuses and the ability to roll, that is, to dodge attacks, make him a good ally. Like Zephyr or Lucika, given the speed of the basic hits this Daemon is perfect for applying statuses like paralysis or poison, as well as giving him a chance to kill instantly with Kill and encourage reflected damage.

- Better statistics: HP, Speed
- Soulstone speed: Average

Bonus: The Secret Daemon
Jex
Jex is a very special Daemon: he looks like one monstrous machine and almost inanimate, that it incorporates Kagachi in a blue envelope that acts as a shield. In the descriptions he is described as a living weapon from another dimension that has traveled hundreds of worlds and has some connection with Lucika. It is only found in the post game through a quest called "Seeker of Truth". To access the quest just teleport to Deto at totem pole # 1, go north and take the alley to the left. An NPC will inform us of Jex, and want to see him. To show it to him, you will need to go to totem # 1 of Sanctum of Rebirth, available only once you've finished the game. The NPC will go further, as there is no longer anything that binds him to earthly life, and Jex will become Kagachi's eleventh Daemon.
Its peculiarity is that of being semi stationary and unable to jump or dodge, replacing this with a large damage AoE blast that consumes around 40% affinity at a time. Without even basic attacks, Jex depends on skills to increase his affinity. Unlike the others, Jex can dispose of well 8 skills simultaneously, divided into two sets. The greatest feature of this Daemon, however, is undoubtedly that of not having its own abilities but of having to copy the fighting styles and associated passive and active abilities of each Daemon in Oninaki.
Jex packs all the Daemons into one body, allowing you to customize attacks to your liking taking, for example, the ability to reflect hits like Rigan or instantly kill like Izana. The latent potential of Jex has a price, namely that of not being able to manifest and be one Difficult daemon to level given its inherent slowness. The all-rounder of the house Oninaki can therefore be helped with various soulstones, such as the one that increases the same frequency of the stones, Skill Attack, concentrating much of its power in the skills and others that go to increase the initial affinity or the attack if this is low.
Consiglio: Use the null stone to bring Jex forward in the beginning. With them it is possible to unlock skills without needing the specific stones.
- Location: Sanctum of Rebirth (post game, side quest to Deto)
- Better statistics: HP
- Soulstone speed: Slow
- Peculiarities: Cannot jump or dodge, has an AoE attack that costs affinity
- Gimmick: Copy and acquire the moves of other Daemons (up to 2 sets)
- Better moves: Choose from the 10 previous Daemons
- Best soulstone: Low Affinity Attack, Affinity, Skill Attack, Concentration, Soulstone Drop
- Utility boss: Relative
