After the duo Giratina - Cresselia, it's now the turn for Generation IV Legendary Third to peep into Pokémon GO. This is the Raid Boss Heatran, Fire and Steel-type pocket monster, which will keep us company until January 15 2019.
Nintendo, Niantic and The Pokémon Company International are working tirelessly to ensure new content for trainers around the world and here is our guide to better face this new raid boss of level 5.
As always, the prerequisites we recommend for taking on the battle are:
- Coach level: 30 +
- Pokémon team level: 30 +
- Number of raid participants:
- 8+ for levels 30 to 35
- 3 - 7 for levels 36 to 40
- Heatran weaknesses: Fight, Water, Earth (x2)
The components recommended for the team to face Heatran with are instead:
- Groudon: Mud Shot & Earthquake
- Rhyperior: Mud Slap & Earthquake
- Rhydon: Mud Slap & Earthquake
- G: Mud Slap & Earthquake
- Swampert: Mud Shot & Earthquake
- Kyogre: Waterfall & Hydropump
- Machamp: Counterattack & Dynamic Punch
- Flygon: Mud Shot & Earthquake
- Breloom: Counterattack & Dynamic Punch
As you can see, the predominant types are land and wrestling, not forgetting a great water type counter like Kyogre. We also remember that if you face the raid boss in the company of a friend, you will get an attack bonus and at least one more Pokéball at the time of capture.
