The Sinnoh stones are an important addition to Pokémon GO: in fact, you will need a constant supply of them to be able to evolve many of the new fourth generation Pokémon that have begun to appear on our maps around the world. Unfortunately, the only way to obtain these stones is to carry out specific activities.
There are currently only two ways to get them:
- Complete battles against other players (PVP);
- Complete the research objectives up to the seventh day;
Of course, this doesn't mean that with every research goal you reach or every battle you win against another player you will get these stones, but they will raise your odds.
In fact, by completing a 7-day quest, you will get a higher chance of getting a Sinnoh stone along with a Legendary Pokémon, while PVP combat will only give you a small percentage of chance, whether you win or lose the fight.
As anticipated, in particular these stones will be used by the player to be able to evolve particular Pokémon of the fourth generation, of which we provide you with the complete list below:
- Rhydon -> Rhyperior
- Electrabuzz -> Electrivire
- Magmar -> Magmortar
- Porygon2 -> Porygon-Z
- Togetic -> Togekiss
- Murkrow -> Honchkrow
- Misdreavus -> Mismagius
- Gligar -> Gliscor
- Sneasel -> Weaville
- Roselia -> Roserade
- Dusclops -> Dusknoir
