New month, new Legendary Raid Boss for Pokémon Go! After the arrival of Groudon, the first legendary creature of the third generation, it is now the turn of his aquatic counterpart Kyogre. Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company released an update for their Android and iOS application on January 12 2018 and we at Epic Videogames Guide offer you, as usual, a guide on how to best deal with it.
Kyogre is a water Pokémon with excellent statistics and interesting movesets to use in other Raids. Defeating him, however, is not obvious and the team necessary to achieve the victory is made up of very different monsters.
So here's an exhaustive list of the best counters to defeat the Kyogre Raid Boss!
- Raikou: Tuonoshock & Sprizzalampo
- Zapdos: Shockbeam & Lightning
- Skeptical: Seed Bomb & Leaf Cutter
- Exeggutor: Half Bomb & Solar Beam
- Venusaur: Whip & Solar Beam
- Groudon: Mud Shot & Solar Beam
- Kyogre: Waterfall & Thunder
- Ho-oH: Extrasense & Solar Beam
- Jolteon: Thunder Shock & Lightning
Lots of variety then! We also remind you that for an excellent success of the Raid Boss it is necessary to be at least 8 players with a level greater than or equal to 30. Furthermore, the Pokémon to be used in the battle should also be of a level greater than or equal to 30.
The period of stay of Kyogre in Pokémon Go has not yet been confirmed, in theory, however, it is possible that it remains for at least a month, just as happened for the previous Raid Boss Groudon.
