With the release of Call of Duty: Warzone, Activision made the modalities available Battle Royale e swag, which may seem similar at first glance but then deep down hide important differences. And it is these differences that dictate what they are completely different action strategies in the two modes. In today's guide we will analyze the Malloppo mode, where our primary goal is the earn a million dollars before our opponents.
As you already know, on Malloppo you have the opportunity to use your customized equipment right away, you have the opportunity to respawn and there is no gas to disturb you during the game. Having said that, let's start with the tips to optimize the game minutes on Warzone and reach the million dollar threshold as quickly as possible. The first important step is to create the right equipment and for this reason we have already created a guide on the best weapons to use in Warzone in season 3.
Initial strategy
One of the most important phases in Warzone's Swag mode is definitely the start of the game, where we will have to decide where to land with our team to start grinding money from crates and loot on the ground. For this reason, based on the trajectory of the plane, we will have to decide the best place to land, which must be a area with a good loot and at the same time with few enemies.
In the image below you can find the best spots classified according to the rarity of the crates, obviously the areas richest in loot will also be the most popular by our enemies. We cannot therefore advise you on a precise place to get off, as each game will be different, however we can advise you to always go down to distant points and towards the end of the plane's trajectory.
Another initial strategy can be that of a much more aggressive approach, in which we decide to parachute into an area with an excellent loot, such as Downtown, and then fight aggressively near banks and shops, so as to steal money from enemies. Obviously this is a very risky strategy, but considering the possibility of respawn it could be an affordable risk.
Deposit the money
You will often land in a completely cleared area, which will allow you and your team to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in no time. Obviously, on Malloppo, the risk of having a lot of money is also that of losing it, in fact in case of death you will lose 50% of your loot, for this reason it is essential deposit money frequently before moving from one point to another on the map.
The easiest way to deposit money is through the use of storage balloonswhich may be found in the boxes or purchased in the shop at a cost of thirty thousand dollars. Unfortunately with only one ball only $ 150 can be deposited, often making it necessary to purchase more balls, resulting in a waste of money just for the purchase of the same. Another method, much less secure, is to deposit the money in the various banks on Warzone's Verdansk map. This is a very risky mode, as a lot of players keep an eye on these areas waiting to kill players full of money to deposit.
Obviously our advice is to evaluate from situation to situation, if you are in a fairly quiet region you can still deposit at least part of your loot in the balloons, and then move to the banks only in case of large amounts of money. However, the approach to banks will have to be very cautious, we recommend check the area with thermal sights, use reconnaissance drones or UAVs to make sure you are safe, then carefully go to the bank, launch a smoke bomb, call the depot plane, wait for it to arrive and deposit your money. Stay away from the main banks and try to deposit in the more isolated ones, you can find the bank spawns in the image below, so you can get an idea of where they can be. A few minutes into the game the available banks will be highlighted on the map.
Money tosses
On a regular basis, during a Malloppo match, some chests containing $ 100, contracts, kill rewards and other items. This is a very important opportunity to make money quickly and therefore should not be wasted. The money tosses are highlighted to everyone on the map therefore it is a very risky recovery, for this reason we recommend send only one or two team members to recover the money, preferably with very little money on his shoulders, so as to limit losses in the event of death.
Money tosses can also be obtained by shooting down support planes which are activated mid and late game. They are quite difficult to take down, however if you attack them all together using maybe even launchers you will be able to easily get your chest.
Attack the richest
Another strategy to apply on Malloppo, which however requires team play and game skills, consists in attacking the people who have the most money and occupy the first places in the ranking. In fact, in Warzone's Swag mode, the three richest teams will be made visible to everyone on the map, thus allowing you to attack them and take their money. It is a very risky but highly profitable strategy, obviously you will also have to deal with other teams who may have applied the same strategy as you and in many cases it is really difficult to survive these clashes.
Obviously in addition to attacking the richest a way to make money is to make lots of kills. With the latest Warzone updates, a cash bonus for kills, further increased on "dirty money" with finishing moves. To facilitate your assaults, you can also use kill rewards, such as "cluster attack" or "precision bombing", which can literally save your life in the most difficult moments.
Complete the contracts
When you move to a completely free area that may not have been emptied yet, in addition to opening the boxes and collecting the money, it is important activate contracts. A very interesting contract is jackal, in which you will be notified of the positions three bonus boxes to open, at the end of which you will receive a cash reward. It is also important to complete the other contracts, in fact every time you complete one you will increase the rewards bonus, thanks to which you will earn a lot of additional money.
An interesting contract is also the contract size; thanks to it you will get a cash bonus for killing the target marked on the map, usually in your vicinity. Besides being a good way to get money, it's also a great way to get money know the location of the enemies when we are in trouble. So when we have a nearby bounty contract and we're in a fight, it's always a good move to activate it, so from find out its location and get bonus money once it is cleared.
Dominate the end game
Once it reaches one million dollars, all the money raised is automatically deposited, allowing us to move without fear of losing money. Game time is also reduced and a three-minute countdown at the end of the game and in this time we will have to try to make as much money as possible to maintain or gain the first position. The positions of the richest players and the support helicopters that we can shoot down to get money will always remain marked.
At this stage of the game it is therefore important take down enemies to take their money, trying however, once you have earned a good bonus nest, not to die and therefore lose half of it. Obtained a good gap from the second in the standings you will therefore have to gplay a more conservative ending if you have a lot of money, so as to take home the game without risk.
