Resident Evil 7 it certainly doesn't contain a lot of weapons to use and, as many of you may have noticed, some are even broken. In particular, the gun is broken M19 and the rifle M21. They are generally more powerful than anything else we will ever be able to find and use and it just happens that ammunition is universal: they are valid for one as well as for the other.
For sure if you didn't want them before you will want them now. Too bad you need two special repair kits to make them work. Don't worry, here's where to find them.
KIT 1: The first repair kit will be accessible to you when you have the Courtyard and the Caravan at your disposal, that is, after the fight in the vivisection room and after having correctly taken and placed the three dog heads.
Let's say you are inside the caravan. Open the main door and look in front of you: you will see the main house. This has two flights of stairs, one on the right and one on the left. Look at the stairs on your left and then turn slightly to the right ones, at ground level. You should see a piece of corrugated metal suitable for repairing a hole in the porch of the house.
Remove this lid and enter the area that opens in front of you. Inside you will find a small box that you can open with a knife or a single bullet. Open it and you will find the first kit. It will be good to use this first kit to repair the M19 pistol. This will give you a 17-round magazine and it will become more powerful than all the other pistols available in the game.
KIT 2: The second Kit is available from the moment you find the snake-shaped key and have access to the Test Area, which is the part of the game in which Lucas has created several puzzles for you to solve. This kit is linked to a particular photo that you will need to find in the game: you can find it in the main house. Go up the stairs to the master bedroom, then head to the room called Warehouse.
On the left of this room you will find a photo depicting a mannequin head on top of a metal structure. You need this image so that you can even locate the kit - you won't be able to find it without it.
With this photo in your pocket, go to the Test Area. In the fourth room, keep your eyes open: the same cage-like structure with the mannequin's head on top is in one of the corners. Touch the dummy's head to find the Kit.
