Super Mario Maker 2 is one of the games that has excited fans the most in recent weeks, but those who are new to the series may find themselves confused. In addition to the story mode, in fact, in Super Mario Maker 2 it is possible to find all the necessary tools to create your own levels yourself, but without knowing some dynamics the results obtained in the creation may not be as expected. So let's see together some useful tricks that could help us in our fantastic creation path in Super Mario Maker 2.
The first fundamental requirement to be able to develop fun and breathtaking levels within Super Mario Maker 2 is, without a shadow of a doubt, to know well the moves that Mario can make. In fact, they allow us to give an extra touch of variety and originality to our level. To learn them just go to the Yamamura School, opening the menu with + and selecting the pigeon in the yellow box. The screen in front of you will contain the lessons on creation and the complete list of Mario's commands.
Lessons on creation: Once you have entered the creation lessons, you will be able to watch a video tutorial that will explain the basics of creation. After viewing this video, it will be possible to use the three series of tutorials - beginner, intermediate and advanced - consisting of 15 videos each.
Once you understand how to create the levels, you need to get a stylus and play in mode handheld. The stylus - everyone should be fine, as long as 5mm and suitable for touch - will allow you to move with greater ease, agility and speed. The next step is to choose your favorite style from: Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. U and Super Mario 3D World. Clearly each of them differs from the others in move sets, mechanics, power-ups and items. With this in mind, it is advisable to decide at the beginning which will be the most suitable for the level to be created. It is also important to remember that, being an extra style, Super Mario 3D World will delete the editor. Of course, the best way to get to know all the styles is to play Super Mario Maker 2's Story Mode.
The Story mode of Super Mario Maker 2, it is true, allows you to know the styles of play, but this is not what it offers. It gives an important glimpse into bonuses, upgrades and, most importantly, the distribution of enemies. This last point is probably one of the most important, in order not to risk creating an unplayable level. A good level must be balanced, even in difficulty. And that's why the best thing you can do is play and replay your creation to check its pace, difficulty and playability. Once you have established whether the created level was successful, you must save it with Coursebot, delete it and reload it. Furthermore, in order to make the level visible in searches, it will be necessary to insert clear and simple tags.
